Bron is the brand of a dietary supplement of which I, Bart Torensma (Clinical epidemiologist, Drs / MSc, PdH.c), the CEO and founder. Together with a dietician, pharmacist, food technologist, personal trainers and myself, we have worked on the development of the product Bron.

Bron is not just a commercial product. It also offers space for the provision of services (including guidance, knowledge transfer) through Bron Academy. Bron Academy is registered with the notary and the court and recognised by the tax authorities as a foundation. 5% of the turnover is spent on this foundation for scientific purposes.

The strength of Bron is that the total whole is looked at and not only the supplement. We offer our customers the tools to find this balance in themselves and their lifestyle.

Bron, the supplement for working and practicing sport, arose from the need for a sports drink which only needed contains nutrients without further additives. Often sports drinks contains (too)lot of sugars (and because of this too much kcal), so it is not a healthy product. When using these types of products, the effect of training is often negated. It does not contain the right substances and / or the right combination of substances for rehydration and muscle recovery. The ingredients of Bron are vitamins, electrolytes, minerals, amino acids and caffeine that are cleverly formulated. It comes in powder form and each bag can be dissolved in 500ml (tap) water.

Why has this choice been chosen precisely? It causes: - better moisture retention (hydration) through a good electrolyte balance (also of positive influence on brain function), - better cortisol ratios due to vitamins, - keep of alertness through caffeine - prevention of muscle and brain atrophy through amino acids
