broeder damiaan is mijn ‘coming out’ als religieus: iemand die zijn leven inricht naar een religieuze overtuiging.
In mijn geval is dat de mystieke overtuiging dat we als mensen ten diepste met elkaar, de natuur en het universum verbonden zijn. Ik geloof niet in een persoonlijke God. Ik zie mijzelf als een tijdelijke verschijning van het leven, dat weer een tijdelijke verschijning van de kosmos is. Waarom de kosmos is, weet niemand.
Op deze pagina publiceer ik eens in de zoveel weken een ervaring die ik ook op broederdamiaan.nl heb gezet.
