Blue Atmosphere is a global provider of Controlled Atmosphere (CA) technology. A new company with more than 30 years of experience in storage of fresh food products. The CA market for food products is currently changing more rapidly than ever before. Until a few years ago there was a rather conservative wait-and-see attitude with hardly any noticeable innovations. “Blue Atmosphere claims that it is able to provide disruptive innovations that will change the storage market in one turn" says Bert Tournois, CEO of Blue Ocean Xlerator (see www.boxnv.nl). Blue Ocean Xlerator is our academic and business partner, which is located in Wageningen, The Netherlands. “Especially in the area of CO2-absorption and control systems, Blue Atmosphere can not only be more flexible and customer-friendly, but also cheaper, both in the fresh market for foods and in climate control for enterprise buildings". Blue Atmosphere co-operates with the internationally operating freezer and cold store company Javeko, specialised in CA solutions (see https://www.javeko.nl/), and we can therefore offer a turnkey solution to customers.
