About Bikes for Zim

As BikesforZim, we aim to create livelihood opportunities for Zimbabweans by providing Dutch stray bikes. For Zimbabweans a bike can mean an opportunity for work, income or education.

Our goals: 💪💰Fight poverty through supporting local entrepreneurs with bikes ♻️🌍 Support sustainable development by relocating littered bikes which are valuable for Zimbabweans 🌟📈Improve the living standards of Zimbabweans,with bikes by increasing the efficiency of transportation which provides hope and opportunities as well as a more sustained family life.

The Dutch branch of our foundation deals with collecting bikes, finding donors and deploying volunteers to transport the bikes to Zimbabwe. The other branch of our foundation, located in Zimbabwe, collaborates with different local Zimbabwean organizations to ensure that the bikes are distributed to those who need them most.
