Legal training teaches black-letter law. It rarely teaches how the human mind actually reasons under pressure, fights uncertainty, and falls for hidden shortcuts and biases. This gap leads to overconfidence, flawed reasoning, and preventable errors in briefs, negotiations, and judgments.

Our mission is to provide legal professionals with rigorous, evidence-based education and training in behavioral science to strengthen judgment, reduce bias, and enhance fairness in legal practice.

The vision is to make behavioral science as indispensable to the law as precedent and statute, so that legal decisions in courtrooms, negotiations and policymaking are less prone to bias and become fairer, more trustworthy and grounded in decision literacy.
