About Baros - Erasmus Basketbal Vereniging

The Student Basketball Club Baros was founded on Febuary 14th 1968 by a group of students with a love for basketball. Over the years it has grown into a club with approximately 200+ members.

These teams are active on a broad range of level. Over the years many things have changed, but Baros still remains a group of students that love parties and basketball. It is therefore hardly surprising that after practices and games the members of Baros hang around for some drinks at the cafeteria in the gym or one of the many bars that can be found around Rotterdam.

Apart from basketball, Baros aims to organise multiple social drinks per season. Also our annual international mixed tournament BIT, which is traditionally held during May, has established a reputation for being well organised with a great atmosphere.
