About as/JE

17 years of experience in IT. I know what I want and what I am capable of. Simply put: I put my soul in my life, in my Family, My health and Lifestyle. I deliver Quality and pay Attention to the things that matter. I don’t believe the hype as well as people who do. Furthermore I do not take on every opportunity since I am not an expert in everything and my skills and passion about IT is not just about quantity. It is the end result. My contribution will make an assignment a huge success. If my gut feeling tells otherwise, then I will rather humbly refuse the assignment. My curriculum is my track record as are my previous projects. I am not getting it off on recommendations or likes. I know my capabilities. (This is a Dutch culture thing I guess.) My passion is the implementation of Business Oriented Software / Solutions. This is a broad scope and could not possibly be pinned down to one single role description. Software developer, icebreaker, liaison between IT and Business, the devil’s advocate, problem solver, story teller, evangelist, the person you hate for being direct and demanding the impossible. It makes me good in what I do. And I am glad with this introspection. I do not do bargain basement sales and I am not the monkey that is paid peanuts. Whether it is a seller’s or a buyer’s market, I stick to my principles:
