About Art of Participatory Leadership

The Art of Participatory Leadership is a partnership of @LievenCallewaert and @SandraGevaert, aimed at advancing and strengthening participatory leadership to create more human, integral and successful organisations. When at least 10% of the people in a system embody these principles a breakthrough is possible! To realise this you're welcome to partner with us. We offer a 3-day intensive journey into the Art of Participatory Leadership, to experience and practice simple yet very powerful methods for hosting meaningful conversations and building resilient organisations and communities for profound change.

From the practice of the Art of Hosting we will teach you a participatory approach to bring together and involve groups to bring about change. A leadership practice combining the personal with the larger system, working with personal insights, dialogue, facilitation and co-creating new solutions for complex social issues. A combination of theory, experiential learning, safe group practice and working on a case from your own daily practice.

We bring together business leaders, change agents, community workers, social entrepreneurs, policy makers from every field and age: people who are passionate about their work, their business and their community and who like to change things for the better.

We invite people who are interested in creating bottom up innovation and co-creating new solutions and coalitions. Our challenge today is how do we move from the promising beginnings of collaboration to truly sustainable change in which all stakeholders contribute and gain? Participants explore this by sharing their own projects and experiences and practicing new ways of participation and collaboration.

The training is Dutch spoken and takes place two times a year in Belgium and the Netherlands.
