About Arjaan Hamel Photography

I am a photographer and director, born in Amsterdam and since 1992 working as a fashion, retail, portrait and advertising photographer. My customers are retail companies, fashion magazines and advertising agencies. My photography and film - look and feel - can be recognized through the feeling of reality and spontaneity, and although the image has been figured out in detail, they give you the impression of a snapshot, slice of real life.

The energy and humor and happiness that is present during the shoot are a basic and important feel of the actual image. The viewer is very much part of the surroundings, and nearly becomes a part because of the storytelling "slice of life"​ feeling of the photos and film images.
