Aperam Recycling Stainless Netherlands B.V. is situated directly in the port of Rotterdam. Approx. 250,000 t of stainless steel scrap are processed here every year making this operation one of the largest individual locations for stainless steel scrap the worldwide.

With over 50,000 m2, direct deep-water access and its own loading and unloading facilities, Aperam Recycling Stainless Netherlands can both discharge and load sea-going vessels and containers as well as river boats and trucks at the modern facility located in Botlek-Rotteradam.

The company is part of Aperam's Recycling division, a global leader in the trading, processing and recycling of raw materials for the stainless steel industry as well as high performance materials such as superalloys and titanium. With more than 40 locations in North America, Europe, Asia, Australia and South Africa, Aperam Recycling has one of the industry's largest global networks.

As diversified recycling division within Aperam’s Recycling and Renewables segment, Aperam Recycling has long-standing expertise in the trading and processing of stainless steel scraps, the revert management of superalloys and titanium, mainly for the aerospace industry as well as recovering valuable metallic contents from melting shop dust and sludge (Recyco). Our goal is to return high quality secondary raw materials to the market in the exact composition that customers need for further processing.
