About ALTRUIST

Altruist was created by Andrew and David: Two friends who met in Africa. They met many years ago whilst working in Durban, South Africa and became good friends whilst sitting in the morning sun on surfboards in the Indian ocean. They set out with a vision: to reduce the incidence of skin cancer by enabling more people to use more sunscreen. Together with the help of the best scientists in Europe and BASF they created an exceptionally high quality sunscreen at the lowest possible price. Our Commitment: - Dermatologist developed: Dr. Birnie and best scientists in Europe and BASF created high quality sunscreen and dermatologic skincare products at the lowest possible price. - High Performance: We use best filters to ensure broad-spectrum protection suitable for all skin types. - Affordable: Altruist has been formulated to remove cost barriers to sunscreen use. Therefore, we ensure affordability while offering high-quality products. - Ethical : True to our name, Altruist is dedicated to giving back. A portion of our profits supports charitable initiatives aimed at preventing skin cancer, promoting health campaigns, and supporting people with albinism in Africa. . Together with partners, Altruist has been able to donate over 865K GBP (1 million EUR) in products since the launch of the brand in 2016. - Sustainability: We honor you and our planet. Our cruelty-free products are hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic and fragrance and paraben free. Altruist products are coral and vegan friendly.
