About Alfa Transport Service

Alfa Transport Service (ATS) is a fully specialised service provider for VAT and excise duties recovery for hauliers that are refuelling abroad. The company is based in the Netherlands and was founded in 1989. In the course of almost 30 years, ATS has developed close relationships with all EU foreign tax offices while providing state-of-the-art services in reclaiming the VAT and excise duties and offering fiscal representation.

ATS is privately owned and currently employs over 50 employees at its headquarters in the Netherlands (Alphen aan den Rijn) and supporting offices in Europe (Germany, Austria, Hungary and Poland). We are independent and not connected to a major oil company and/or fuel card issuer. That provides us with a proven and unique position in the market and enables us to offer the necessary requirements to our customers , as well as from its partners. For example, in regard to setting up viable IT-solutions and connections, ATS holds a distinctive reputation that is widely acknowledged.
