AIB Bank is specialized in Loan Syndication, Agency Services, Corporate Lending, Program and Project Management and Advisory Services.

Having these capabilities locally allows local institutions, such as pension funds and banks, to invest in the development of Aruba, keeping funds on the island and promoting economic development.

AIB Bank is supervised by the Central Bank of Aruba (CBA). The CBA oversees AIB Bank’s compliance with the relevant State Ordinances, for example the State Ordinance for the Prevention and Combating Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing (AML/CFT).

AIB is a privately-owned company with shares held by local and international financial institutions and individual shareholders. AIB Bank has a two-tier board structure consisting of the Management Board and the Supervisory Board, ensuring proper checks and balances. This has propelled AIB to have made strategic investments that have led to a portfolio we are proud of.
