The 16th Infantry Regiment Historical Society is a non-profit organization based in the Netherlands committed to collecting, preserving and sharing the rich history of the U.S. 16th Infantry Regiment, so that all generations can understand the price of freedom. Our representatives work hard across Europe, conducting research and attending events across the continent to educate and inspire others to share our passion for the history of the Regiment.

Founded in 2014, the 16th Infantry Regiment Historical Society was born out of the idea to honor and remember the vital role the regiment played in World War II. Over time, the Society has grown into a project far greater than we initially envisioned, tracing the regiment’s history from World War I to today. It’s our hope to inspire people of all ages to protect our future by remembering our past.
