About 100 Plus Foundation

There is something magical about reaching the age of 100. For the 100 Plus Foundation, it is in any case reason to focus on the new centenarians through an unforgettable day of wish fulfilment. In this way we give substance to one of the objectives of the 100 Plus Foundation: promoting society-wide appreciation for seniors.

The role of seniors in our society is invaluable, they have performed and produced a lifetime and contributed to the further development of the Netherlands and the well-being of our society. By organizing an unforgettable wish fulfilment day for 100-year-olds, society is giving something back to the centenarians. Our thanks and appreciation for their contributions. A small gesture, but with a big impact.

With the celebration of a wish fulfilment day for a 100-year-old, it does not stop for the 100 Plus Foundation. We leave something permanent behind for the local community of the eternal. As part of our goal to help combat loneliness among seniors and to promote social cohesion, we are creating a public Jeu des Boules rink in the 100-year-old's place of residence.

In addition, the 100 Plus Foundation financially supports the "100 plus research" project of the Alzheimer Center connected to the AUMC (Amsterdam University Medical Centers).
