Work on how people use Re:Shark.

Re:Shark builds AI agents for B2B sales teams. We’re looking for a UX/UI intern with some design experience, a lot of enthusiasm and the drive to turn ideas into a product people can use.

What you’ll actually work on

We’ll choose a project together based on what you want to design and what you want to get better at. There’s plenty to figure out in helping people work with an AI agent, and we want you working on a problem that interests you.

You’ll work out what someone is trying to do, explore different ways to help them do it and turn your ideas into designs we can build. That means sketching, prototyping, testing and paying attention to the details. You’ll work with the engineers as it gets built and stay involved as people start using it.

How we work

  • Direct collaboration. You’ll work with the CTO and engineers on the product. You’ll discuss ideas, work through decisions together and get direct feedback on your designs.
  • Take initiative. Notice where something is confusing, investigate it and come with ideas. We expect you to start trying things and ask questions when you need help.
  • Test your thinking. Make a prototype, put it in front of someone and see what happens. Use what you learn to improve the design.
  • Follow through. Stay involved as your design gets built. Check the details, work through the awkward cases and help get it into a state people can use.
  • Hard work. This is going to be a demanding internship. Some ideas won’t survive testing, and getting the details right takes persistence. You’ll build a lot of cool shit with us, and you’ll have to put the work in.

You might be a great fit if

  • You’re very enthusiastic about how software looks and works, and want to get good at designing it.
  • You have some design experience and work you can show us. A school project, a prototype or something you redesigned yourself is enough to start a conversation.
  • You can explain the choices you made and are curious about how people actually use what you design.
  • You start things yourself, take feedback seriously and keep working when a problem gets difficult.
  • You want to push yourself. MBO, HBO, WO or self-taught: your education doesn’t decide whether you belong here.

This probably isn’t for you if

  • You’re looking for an easy placement where you can mostly watch.
  • You want to hand over a mockup and stop thinking about how it gets built or used.
  • You don’t want to revisit your ideas after feedback or testing.

Practical details

4–6 months, starting date flexible, based at our Amsterdam office with hybrid working. €500–750 per month.

Meewerk- and afstudeerstages are welcome. We’ll work with you to find a project that fits your interests and any requirements from your school.

How we hire
