Sales & Business Development Intern

  • Team: Sales & Business Development
  • Location: Amsterdam · Hybrid
  • Contract: Internship · 28–40 hours per week
  • Salary: Allowance by agreement

Learn sales at a start-up that makes sales smarter.

At Re:Shark, we’re building an AI sales platform that helps businesses find and contact potential customers. We’re growing quickly and looking for an enthusiastic, outgoing sales intern to help us build.

Want to learn how to find new customers, have a good conversation and turn interest into a concrete meeting? With us, you’ll put it into practice yourself, with guidance and direct feedback.

What will you do?

You’ll join our commercial team and learn the sales process, from the first introduction to a proposal and its follow-up.

  • Find potential customers: research which businesses are a good fit for Re:Shark and who the right contacts are.
  • Make contact: reach out to prospects by phone, email and LinkedIn, using our own AI platform too.
  • Discover needs: learn to ask the right questions and explore a business’s commercial challenges.
  • Book meetings: spark prospects’ curiosity and arrange introductions and demos with the team.
  • Observe sales conversations: join demos and learn how to connect our solution to a customer’s situation.
  • Follow up: keep the CRM up to date, follow up on conversations and make sure opportunities get attention.

What will you learn?

You’ll learn how to choose an audience, write a convincing message and have commercial conversations with confidence. You’ll also practise asking follow-up questions, handling objections and agreeing on a concrete next step.

Together, we’ll set learning goals that fit your course. You’ll get feedback on your conversations and see how your approach translates into replies, meetings and new customers.

Who are we looking for?

  • You’re studying a relevant vocational or higher professional course (MBO or HBO), for example commercial economics, business or marketing.
  • You speak and write Dutch and English well.
  • You’re curious about people and willing to ask questions.
  • You enjoy making contact and picking up the phone.
  • You’re open to feedback and want plenty of practice.
  • You’re interested in AI, sales, software and entrepreneurship.
  • You’re available for 28 to 40 hours per week and can work in a hybrid setup based in Amsterdam.

Sales experience isn’t required. Motivation, curiosity and initiative matter more to us.

What do we offer?

  • A hands-on internship where you’ll learn within a fast-growing AI start-up.
  • Personal guidance and practical sales training.
  • Direct collaboration with the founders and commercial team.
  • Experience with AI tools you’ll use every day.
  • Room for your own ideas and a possible internship assignment.
  • Hybrid working, based in Amsterdam.
  • An internship allowance by agreement.
