Hello. We are Winq. Patients forget 40-80% of the information provided by healthcare practitioners. That is why patients often look for reliable information about their condition and possible treatments before and after speaking to a healthcare practitioner. In addition, many healthcare practitioners believe well-informed patients are a key factor in being able to spend their time with patients more efficiently. Winq’s mission is to contribute to the quality of decision making in terms of choosing the best available treatment plan wisely together. We do this by providing healthcare practitioners and patients with high-quality, up-to-date information at the right time, which is directly relevant to the (preferably shared) decisions that have to be made regarding treatment and rehabilitation.

Winq. Technology. Winq is a young technology company that focuses on the real-time generation of high-quality information tailored to each specific user. Based on environmental and/or user characteristics, information (text, images, video) is put together by smart and learning algorithms. The platform that is being developed for this is entirely cloud-based. The first implementation of the platform is focused on healthcare and is used by healthcare institutions (such as hospitals and independent treatment centers) to improve the process of shared decision-making. Patients receive high-quality and relevant information before the consultation during which important treatment decisions are taken. Winq’s head office is located at Herengracht 440 in Amsterdam.
