Over Whiskybase

At Whiskybase, our mission is to make whisky more accessible and enjoyable for people everywhere.

Founded in 2007 in the Netherlands, Whiskybase is the world's largest whisky community and the premier source for whisky information, ratings, reviews, prices, and marketplace services. Over 5 million enthusiasts visit us each year to discover new whiskies, research bottles, build collections, and connect with a passionate global community.

Our members' ratings, reviews, and collections are among the most trusted resources in the whisky world — the real influencers among people who know their whisky.

You know us as: ➤ Whiskybase.com — the world's #1 whisky community, home to the world's most comprehensive whisky database. ➤ Whiskystats.com — whisky market intelligence for collectors, investors, brands, auction houses, and trade professionals. ➤ Archives Whisky — our independent bottling label of carefully selected single casks, bottled at cask strength (archiveswhisky.com). ➤ The Whiskybase Marketplace — the world's largest peer-to-peer whisky market. ➤ The Whiskybase Shop — our haven for independent, unique, and old and rare bottles, recognized among the world's best whisky shops.
