Webchair is a successful business venture launched in 2011 that revolutionizes the telepresence industry through innovative products that aim at improving the remote communication experience. More than 10,000 children in the Netherlands do not have access to education on a daily basis because of temporary or permanent health issues. Through a new technology called the Webchair, children don't have to miss out on basic education any longer. With this innovative technology, they are able to participate in the classroom from a remote location. The main benefit that the product brings is that students no longer experience isolation from their classmates. Yearly, more than 300 children are actively using Webchairs in a classroom environment.
