In 1984, Vijay and Bhikhu founded Waymade Healthcare, which expanded globally in 2003 with the creation of Amdipharm, a separate pharmaceutical company. Amdipharm obtained the rights to sell products across Europe, the Middle and Far East, Australia, New Zealand, and Latin America, with their products being sold in over 100 countries. In October 2012, a Private Equity Group acquired Amdipharm and has since successfully expanded its operations. Vijay and Bhikhu still retain a vested interest in the expanded group. The legacy of Vijay and Bhikhu continues with another successful company established in 2013, named Atnahs, which had an ambitious track record from its inception, with an innovative business model of in-licensing matured brands to rejuvenate fading brands. The company was divested to a Private Equity group in 2019 for a multimillion-dollar deal and later rebranded as Pharmanovia.

As a proactive response to the challenges posed by Brexit, Waymade Plc established Waymade BV, an EU entity, established its presence in the Netherlands in 2020, specializing in licensing, selling, and marketing generic pharmaceutical products under the Sovereign International Business to retail pharmacies, hospitals, and wholesalers. This move not only demonstrates the company's ability to adapt to changing circumstances but also provides a positive outlook for the future. By establishing a presence in the Netherlands, Waymade Plc is well-positioned to continue providing high-quality pharmaceutical products to retail pharmacies, hospitals, and wholesalers across Europe.
