What do you have to do? Put your ideas, sketches, and designs on paper, together with explanations. Together, we stand strong! That is what we thought of when we came up with the idea of a big think tank. By organising a competition for solutions to flooding in built-up areas, Nering Bögel wants to encourage as many clever minds as possible to reflect on this issue.

Who is doing the judging? Prof. Dr. Ir. Nick van de Giesen is the backbone of our jury, which will be supplemented by a selection of experts (investment/development/sustainability/building technology). Nick van de Giesen has held the Van Kuffeler Chair of Water Resources Management in Delft since 2004.

Why is Nering Bögel doing this? And what is different about this? Our aim is to solve this problem within 3 years by means of affordable solutions and to provide students with the opportunity to participate in a business model/enterprise with their own ideas, so that they can make a good basis for their future in this field.

You don't have to wrack your brains as to whether something is feasible in all respects, rather focus on what is possible, i.e. be creative!
