A strong reputation, reliability and trust are essential foundations for a professional and successful crypto sector. The Crypto Industry Association therefore attaches great importance to maintaining and strengthening the reputation and integrity of its affiliated companies.

The objective of VBNL is to safeguard the quality of the affiliated crypto industry by promoting (self-)regulation and by preventing and combating crypto-related crime and fraud.

The association was established in 2015 and provides governments and other institutions with a point of contact for the crypto industry in the Netherlands.
