Verbeter samen (‘Improve together’) is an organization based in the Netherlands helping clients with the ambition to become excellent (healthcare) organizations through daily improvement. We work together with our clients in building learning and improvement capability & capacity by developing the necessary: - Knowledge - Skills - Routines in such a way the organization is self-reliant in improving its performance every day We use the ‘lean’ or ‘Toyota Production System’ philosophy which is based on the following basic assumptions: - Value for the patient - People are the most valuable resource - Daily improvement is part of daily work - Focus on the workplace, where value is added Clients are primary from healthcare, both ‘cure’ and ‘care’.
