In March 2016 vari-stepp has won the 2nd prize of the Export Award SMEs. All Dutch companies can participate in this competition and this award stimulates the export. The VARI-STEPP is a simple, yet effective and innovative product of Dutch design. It is a flexible door sill, facilitating an unimpeded passage of wheeled traffic, such as wheelchairs and hospital beds. • A water-retaining door sill, but not an obstacle • An excellent water bar for wet rooms • Ergonomic for staff • Wheelchair-friendly • Helps to avoid falls among elderly people The VARI-STEPP is the solution for sectors with considerable levels of wheeled traffic, such as: • Hospitals • Nursing and care homes • Hotels • Kitchens • Airports/stations References The VARI-STEPP performed excellently in laboratory tests. It exceeded by far the cyclic load criteria applicable. Trials with the VARI-STEPP have been carried out at numerous sites throughout the Netherlands, to the clients’ complete satisfaction. VARI-STEPP is also included in the Vivalib home. This French concept has been developed to allow older people to live at home longer by using innovations. The first Dutch Vivalib-house is completed in March 2016 in The Hague (NL) and various municipalities have this property included in their policies. Distribution relationship We are looking for distribution partners for the international market with the following profile: • Knowledgeable in the field of applications; • Able to deliver custom in the assembly of the 2 semi finished products; • Having a well organized sales team with a network consisting of architects, building contractors; or • Distributing already a product range which could connect the VARI-STEPP; and • Prepared to render customisation, distribution, installation and support services.
