Founded in 1898, the firm has grown through the years into a law firm with an international scope. Nevertheless, Van Traa is a firm in which the people have both feet firmly on the ground and take time to create a good personal relationship with their clients. Van Traa is specialized in international trade, transport & logistics and insurance & liability. All these areas of activity often involve legally complicated cases. At Van Traa we try to get to the essence of the problem quickly and to create clarity. To make matters clear, that is our objective as Van Traa. Our firm counts over 35 lawyers - a size that makes it possible to deal with larger cases that require a specialized team. On the other hand it is also a size where everyone knows each other well and where know how and specialized knowledge is shared and passed on from the older generation to the younger.
