Virgiel Discussion Society Lancet (V.D.G. Lancet) is the cultural sub-association of K.S.V. Sanctus Virgilius where a large group of members can let their cultural interests flourish. What once started in 1951 as a debate society of Virgiel has now become the largest cultural student society of the Netherlands, counting more than 1000 members. With an annually changing board of 7 students, we organize a wide range of cultural, surprising and enriching activities and trips. Think: lectures, workshops, musical jam sessions, theme nights and a big party. Moreover, Lancet offers a meeting ground for people with a common interest in culture.
