De MD PhD Committee van het UMC Utrecht heeft als doel om problemen aan te kaarten en oplossingen aan te bieden voor alle PhD kandidaten binnen het UMC Utrecht, in het bijzonder arts-onderzoekers. De MD PhD Committee is tevens ook vertegenwoordigt in andere vertegenwoordigingen of heeft hier nauw contact mee, zoals het Promovendi Netwerk Nederland (PNN), PhD Network Utrecht (PROUT), PhD-council van de Graduate School of Life Sciences (GSLS) en de Onderwijs- en Onderzoeksraad (O&O raad UMC Utrecht). Zaken waar de MD PhD Committee van het UMC Utrecht zich onder andere mee bezighoudt zijn de UMC cao’s en BIG-registratie van onderzoekers. Daarnaast organiseert de MD PhD Committee allerlei activiteiten zoals de lunches voor arts-onderzoekers in het UMC Utrecht. Mocht je geïnteresseerd zijn om plaats te nemen in de MD PhD Committee, vragen hebben of ons feedback willen geven, laat het ons dan vooral weten!

The MD-PhD Committee aims to address problems and suggest solutions for PhD-candidates that are employed at the UMC Utrecht, specifically MD-PhD Candidates. All representatives are members of governing or representative bodies or have close contact to these bodies, such as Promovendi Netwerk Nederland (PNN), PhD Network Utrecht (PROUT), PhD-council of the Graduate School of Life Sciences (GSLS) and the Education and research council of the UMC Utrecht (Onderwijs- en Onderzoeksraad). Thus far, the sensor group has addressed topics such as the CAO UMC and the BIG reregistration. The sensor group meets occasionally and organises activities, such as lunches for MD-PhD candidates in the UMC Utrecht.
