Extracting the most performance from a tyre is a time and energy consuming practice that would cost a lot of money and often has great risks involved. TPT developed a novel tyre compound testing method, called the TPT001 compound testing method, that makes us able to create tyre compound wear models.

These models show the change in performance of the tyre compound during its life. These models can be used as stand alone models, or they can be added to existing models like Pacejka models to include the change of performance of the tyre compound for more precise simulations and modelling.

Some tyres allow for performance gains under the right circumstances. The parameters or these gains can be found through the TPT001tyre compound testing method. Preparing a set of tyres using these parameters can increase tyre grip with a few percent for a short period, for example for a qualifying run.

TPT offers tyre testing, model correlation testing, support and advice.
