We all know that language learning can be a long and laborious task. Moreover, if it is administered poorly it may even have negative influence on your overall learning experience and motivation to study. Boring textbooks, drilling exercises, lack of interaction and monotonous lessons are just a few examples of how your language classroom can become the last place on earth where you want to be.

Tongue Twister* as the name implies in itself, stands for something fun yet rather complex and educational. That is to show that we take education seriously, but at the same time we are not afraid to push it outside of the standard frames.

At Tongue Twister your classes may not look like the typical language classes where your main concern is to complete the textbook and do your homework. Here we go beyond the textbook and incorporate such additional activities as readers' theater, movie discussion, table games, city tours, and so on and so forth. We do this because of several reasons. First, incorporating additional activities helps learners with diverse learning preferences (i.e. visual, audio, kinesthetic) to memorize and internalize new information easier. Second, it fosters new experiences and emotions that also contribute in learning a new language. Finally, it creates new friendships and communities so you could always find someone to speak in the language that you want to learn.

Tongue Twister aims at being an example of high quality education and seeks to prove that learning can be one of the experiences that you would never want to forget.

*Tongue Twister is a word or sequence of words difficult to pronounce, especially rapidly, because of alliteration or a slight variation of consonant sounds, as “She sells seashells by the seashore.”
