Over Tim Boelaars

Tim Boelaars is an illustrator and artist living in Amsterdam, where he spends time working on personal and commercial projects.

His work is recognised for its bright colours, singular line-work and geometric compositions.

In his free time Tim draws inspiration from gardening, hiking, mixing electronic music, making fresh pasta and birdwatching.

He was named a Young Gun by the Art Director’s Club in 2012. Tim is also the founder of Plant22, a co-working community of eight creative professionals, located in Amsterdam.

He has worked with clients both large and small, such as Apple, IBM, Land Rover, National Geographic, The New Yorker, The New York Times and WeTransfer.
