Over thedawn

The Dawn is an independent creative studio building an original cinematic dark fantasy universe from the ground up.

We produce episodic short films, world-building content, and in-world merchandise — all set within a single interconnected mythology drawing from Sumerian lore, Hermetic tradition, Gnostic philosophy, and ancient astronaut theory.

Our first series — Chapter VIII — is a short-form cinematic series following a librarian in the Netherlands who discovers that the boundary between the ordinary world and something far older is thinner than anyone suspects. Episodes are produced using AI-assisted filmmaking tools including Nano Banana, Veo, Kling, and ElevenLabs, edited in DaVinci Resolve.

The Dawn operates as a one-person studio, handling narrative development, AI art direction, video production, brand strategy, and ecommerce through a Shopify storefront with print-on-demand fulfillment.
