The International Body Psychotherapy Journal is a peer-reviewed journal issued twice a year—in spring and fall—as a joint initiative of two sister organizations:

- EABP – European Association for Body Psychotherapy

- USABP – United States Association for Body Psychotherapy

The Journal is reviewed by members of both associations, along with experts from related disciplines.

We offer free PDF downloads of the full journal and individual articles, as well as a print subscription service. Abstracts are available in multiple European languages.

The Journal’s mission is to support, promote, and stimulate the exchange of ideas, scholarship, and research in body psychotherapy while also encouraging interdisciplinary dialogue with related areas of clinical theory and practice.

Originally developed from the USABP Journal, this collaborative publication emerged in response to the remarkable global growth of body psychotherapy over the past decade. As the field continues to evolve, the Journal aims to expand its reach by welcoming submissions of original theory, qualitative and quantitative research, experiential reports, case studies, comparative analyses, and literature reviews from clinicians and researchers across all healthcare domains worldwide.
