“BASELINE….the birth of a game changer.“

It’s Value is a long established specialist TBM consultancy based in the Netherlands, focusing on TBM excellence and recognized as a leader in helping companies transform their understanding of IT Costs. Having worked with multiple large-scale TBM customers, It’s Value became acutely aware of the challenges that CIO’s and their executives face in driving real value from their IT cost information, in a meaningful timeframe.

Discussions with these CIO’s highlighted several repeating themes from TBM users: o “I cannot foster sufficient engagement with my management team on TBM value.” o “Meaningful analysis of IT spend, and value opportunities is too time-consuming.” o “My needs are different, and I need flexibility and scalability in my toolsets.”

These challenges called for a new approach to analysing IT costs using TBM, something easy to digest, quick to action and a solution that encourages fast and effective executive engagement.

What was needed was a mobile TBM app – something that TBM professionals could easily integrate with their existing TBM solution, at minimal cost and with the ability to drive real TBM insights and value.

The idea for BASELINE was born…

In April of 2018, It’s Value Technologies formed a dedicated 5-person team to develop this mobile TBM solution, engaging with current TBM users to understand their challenges and promote the BASELINE App as a game-changing weapon in a CIO’s TBM arsenal.

Following an intensive development cycle the BASELINE App was launched, in November 2018 by It’s Value at the TBM Conference 18 in Las Vegas. The App was well received and everyone who saw it and hundreds of customers past by the stand. For the first time, TBM executives have their TBM ecosystem in the palm of their hands, with feature-rich analysis widgets and proactive notification and alerting capability.
