FresQ is a growers cooperation and is the 2nd largest growers cooperation in The Netherlands. With 79 members, FresQ represents more than 750 hectares and a wide variety of greenhouse vegetables such as tomatoes, peppers, aubergines, chillies and cucumbers. Together, the members of FresQ achieved an annual turnover of € 407 million in 2008. The aim of FresQ is to create an optimum market position for her members through intensive cooperation and sustainable and market-oriented production. FresQ consists of a cooperation and several Operating Sales companies. FresQ is 100% owner of the Operating Sales companies. FresQ is a cooperative association that carries out tasks for her members and Operating Sales companies, such as sales and marketing, acting as representative, quality, food-safety,(financial) administration, IT and several (subsidy) projects. The sale of the products of the members is directed by FresQ. Through the Operating Sales companies FresQ is able to meet de demands of the various market segments and target sectors in the most optimal way.
