Thom has 20 years of consultancy and project management experience in the financial services industry. He has been working on behalf of asset managers, treasury departments, private and wholesale banks, an exchange, a broker and a custodian. Thom has been as program, project manager, business consultant and test manager responsible for the implementation and upgrade of investment and treasury management systems (front and back office), several migrations, introductions of new (online) asset management services, the set-up of new disaster recovery environments and the delivery of reports in any format.

Thom is an enthusiastic project manager, result driven with a good eye for inter human relationships. Over the years Thom has gained experience in the management and coaching of teams of experts and consultants. He is used to working in multidisciplinary and international environments, covering business as well as IT aspects of the projects. Thom has worked with several Scrum software development teams in his projects.

Thom is seen by others as someone who is pragmatic, thorough, systematic, hardworking and reliable and someone who gets the job done. Thom believes that project management is about the building and managing of Committed teams that enjoy to Cooperate and that work together in a well-Coordinated way, supported through Coaching.
