SUSS MicroTec Netherlands B.V. is the home of PiXDRO, the inkjet printing technology. The division, is part of SUSS MicroTec’s lithography product portfolio, developing industrial inkjet processes and next generation applications for a variety of industries. As with many companies located in the Eindhoven, Leuven, Aachen triangle, SUSS MicroTec benefits from the regional network effect which ensures that the highest technological standard are integrated in to our products.

Inkjet printing is a non-contact, digital and additive manufacturing technology. It patterns functional materials for a variety of applications. Its precise drop placement and accurate drop volumes make functional inkjet printing suited for printed electronics, displays, OLED, sensors, PCBs, semiconductor assembly, chemical machining, photovoltaics, biomedical/life science and optics. Inkjet printing, as developed by SUSS MicroTec, can create fine (3D-) features down to 20 microns, and replaces techniques such as lithography, screen-printing, spin coating, spray coating and dispensing.

The Drop on Demand nature of the technology enables efficient use of materials, the potential elimination of some pre and post print processes and provides the basis for an attractive return on investment. In addition, the technology offers the opportunity to transition to an Eco Friendly production platform.

The PiXDRO product portfolio includes semi-automatic equipment for R&D, as well as fully-automated equipment for inkjet-based manufacturing and high-volume production.
