A clear need exists for technology that enables “first time right” surgery by determining if a tumor has been adequately removed.

In collaboration with several clinical partners in Europe and partners from the industry, SurGuide is developing a medical device based on Raman spectroscopy for rapid intra-operative inspection of surgical margins, and aims to improve the success rate and efficiency of tumor resection procedures.
