The Sunday Saloon Sessions Foundation is a contemporary literary salon designed primarily for female students. We host engaging monthly sessions in Amsterdam, Delft, Groningen, Leiden, Utrecht, and Rotterdam, where members dive into current topics of interest. Each session features interactive group discussions, inspiring guest speakers, along with a glass of wine.

Founded in 2020 in Groningen, our initiative revives the rich tradition of literary salons—historical spaces for philosophical, political, and literary exchange.

In the 17th century, salons provided a unique platform for women to share ideas, receive and give criticism. These gatherings empowered ambitious women to pursue higher education through dialogue and collaboration.
