Over Study Tour Wahweenga

A study tour is an intercontinental trip for students. In September 2022, a group of 30 Biomedical Engineering and Technical Medicine students from the University of Twente will visit Canada and America for three weeks. During this stay there will be a good balance between educational and cultural excursions. The educational excursions will focus on visiting organizations with different areas of interest in the (bio)medical field.

Prior to the study tour, the participating students will carry out an investigation on topics like culture, history, economy and biomedical advancements in Canada & America. They will also receive lectures on some of these topics, to gain in-depth knowledge but also to broaden their research. Apart from the educational research, the participating students will also carry out a contract research or case study.
