Over Study Tour Kaizen

Study Tour Kaizen is a project that organizes an academic study tour for students of study association Paradoks. In September 2018, 30 Biomedical Engineering and Technical Medicine master students from the University of Twente will be travelling to Japan to visit companies, institutes and hospitals to gain more knowledge about innovative medical technologies. Our research theme for the study tour is “Preparing healthcare for a super-ageing society: the Japanese race against time”, in which we will be focusing on how Japan is organizing its healthcare for the elderly and the specific role that medical technology plays within this organization.
