Over Stichting Ruimtevaart

The primary aim of the Foundation Ruimtevaart is to endeavor to secure buildings in which a variety of disciplines and working practices can work as well as exhibit. The foundation Ruimtevaart is an artist initiative first established 1991 and has as its primary aim and objective to obtain affordable studio spaces as well as initiating Contemporary art projects: sound /and media and music. Ever since its formation Ruimtevaart has occupied several, and very different public buildings in The Hague. Currently, since May 2007, foundation Ruimtevaart has a new location; the former AAZ-building on the Loosduinseweg 9. This building offers Ruimtevaart ample possibilities to further proliferate and establish itself as platform for the visual arts, design, music and cinematography.
