Over Stichting PAC

The PAC Foundation is the driving force behind the annual PAC symposium. An annual event for chemistry students in the Netherlands. The PAC foundation was established in 1991 through a collaboration between three university study associations: Amsterdams Chemisch Dispuut (ACD, University of Amsterdam), Chemisch Dispuut Leiden (CDL, Leiden University), and Utrecht Chemical Student Association Proton (Utrecht University). The Studievereniging Chemiestudenten VU (VCSVU, Free University of Amsterdam) also joined this list in 2001. The board consists of students from these study associations and changes annually.

The PAC Foundation is responsible for organizing an annual major chemistry symposium at one of the participating universities. Over the years, the PAC Foundation and the symposia have become household names among chemistry students. Every year the symposium attracts more than 300 students and PhD students from all over the Netherlands and hosts highly renowned speakers within the industry. This makes the PAC symposium one of the largest chemistry symposiums organized for and by students. For further details, please visit our website.
