High quality infectious disease care is a global priority, that can only be ensured through a collaborative approach from a diversity of disciplines. The Specialized Program for Infectious Disease Care Everywhere (SPICE) aims to contribute to a world where high quality, accessible and affordable infectious disease care is available to everyone. SPICE matches low-resource hospitals to an infectious disease or AMS expert for a period of 6 – 18 months, who will provide implementation support and guidance for facility-based improvement projects. By matching hospitals with the right experts, SPICE aims to support and empower teams to encourage sustainable behavior change and ultimately better infectious disease care at a facility level. Our goal is to empower infectious disease teams to identify, manage, and prevent infectious disease issues sustainably, creating long-term impact within their facility and community.
