​​ SPARKS is an open platform for innovation and co-creation within the chemical industry. SPARKS is initiated by TNO and Kirkman Company to help organizations accelerate their sustainable innovation. We see that sustainable innovation within the chemical industry stagnates and lots of potential is unexploited. Meanwhile the chemical industry feels the responsibility to find adequate answers on societal challenges concerning sustainability. Together we need new business-models, knowledge-sharing and co-creation to create progress and sustained prosperity for everyone. We believe co-creation to be a key element within this process in which traditional linear value chains will be transformed into sustainable value networks. Across the borders of your own organization, joining forces in order to tackle the collective challenges. SPARKS supports organizations by doing the necessary research, bringing together the involved parties and taking care of the process of supply chain collaboration.​ ​
