South Stream Transport B.V. is responsible for safe, reliable and uninterrupted operation of the TurkStream Pipeline system.

TurkStream connects the large gas reserves in Russia to the Turkish gas transportation network in order to provide reliable energy supplies to Turkey and Southern and South-eastern Europe.

With the team of international experts from all over the world, the company developed a pioneering design for deep-water pipelines, oversaw the qualification, testing and production of pipes according to the highest quality standards, carried out a very comprehensive surveying process, obtained the necessary permits for construction and constructed the offshore pipelines and the onshore facilities with the assistance of its contractors. The system operation has started in January 2020.

TurkStream has been developed in an environmentally responsible manner and in line with the international standards. The pipeline system extends the frontiers of offshore pipeline engineering.
