Over soundspectre

Soundspectre a label dedicated to providing innovative tools for sound professionals. Based in The Netherlands, Soundspectre was born out of passion for sound and 3D printing. Since 2020, Kristian Knoop been developing products to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency for industry experts.

My journey began during the Covid-19 pandemic when I started experimenting with 3D printing. The technical challenges intrigued me, and after many trials and errors, I mastered the craft. Initially creating designs for personal use and family, I soon saw the potential to create practical solutions for the sound industry.

Through engagement with 3D printing communities and continuous learning, I launched Soundspectre. Our flagship product, the Dome, was designed to support sound technicians by providing a durable, practical solution for storing boompoles between takes. Its robust design has been widely appreciated and is now a staple in the Netherlands and beyond. Another product, the Grill, addresses the common issue of equipment damage during transport. This compact, 3D-printed case holder for Zaxcom ZMT transmitters ensures that valuable equipment is stored securely and efficiently, reducing mess and prolonging equipment life.

At Soundspectre, we focus on customizing solutions to meet the unique needs of sound professionals. We collaborate with fellow industry members to identify common challenges and create tailored products that improve workflow and durability.
