Along with a year-round programme, the organisation is notable for its Biennial, which takes place at a variety of locations in Amsterdam. Sonic Acts supports research, development and presentation of cutting-edge music, visual art, science, and technology in concerts, lectures, club music, film screenings, workshops, exhibitions, and more. Based in Amsterdam, Sonic Acts works with national and international artists, partners, and kindred cultural and academic institutions.
