Over SOLidariedade Foundation

The SOLidariedade Foundation is a Dutch NGO committed to the future of youth in Brazil.

The Foundation supports educational activities and projects in the Centro Franciscano in the city of Alvorada in Brazil. Daily, this Center is visited by 100 children, aged 6 to 15 years. The children receive extra education such as computer courses and English classes and can participate in a homework support project. They also get the opportunity to sport and dance, do arts, play music and theater, work in the garden, use the library and many other activities. Besides the activities for the children, the Center also supports the families of the children.

The founders of the SOLidariedade Foundation, Mark Fijen and Anouk Cleven, have worked in the Center from 2012 to 2018.
