Security BSides is a community-driven framework for building events for and by Information Security community members. The goal is to expand the spectrum of conversation beyond the traditional confines of space and time. It creates opportunities for individuals to both present and participate in an intimate atmosphere that encourages collaboration. It is an intense event with discussions, demos, and interaction from participants. It is where conversations for the next-big-thing are happening.

Security BSides Amsterdam is not restricted only to ethical hacking, but instead the conference is open to a wide range of subjects related to (cyber)security such as incident response, IoT security, computer forensics, security standards and of course compliance.

The event also provides an opportunity to students, rookies, security researchers and even security enthusiasts to get involved and be heard in a worldwide exposed event. Professionals from all over Europe and the US, and especially from the Netherlands, have the opportunity to meet and network during the conference.
